Terms of Service

By using Deputary ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, stop using the service.

1. What Deputary does

Deputary is a procurement automation tool for Amazon FBA + Shopify sellers. It pulls inventory + sales data from connected platforms, recommends reorder quantities, drafts supplier emails, and lets you act on those recommendations through a chat-style assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for any actions taken from your account.
  • You must connect third-party services (Amazon SP-API, Shopify, Gmail) using your own valid credentials. We never share these with anyone outside your workspace.
  • Workspace owners control who's invited; everyone in a workspace has the same access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the service for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to access another tenant's data; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or rate-abuse the service; (d) send unsolicited bulk email through the supplier-messaging features.

4. AI-generated content

Deputary uses Claude to draft emails, parse supplier replies, and propose actions. We don't guarantee accuracy. You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated drafts and confirming AI-proposed actions before they're applied. We don't auto-send orders or auto-pay deposits without your explicit approval.

5. Third-party platforms

Deputary reads from Amazon Seller Central (SP-API), Shopify Admin API, and Gmail. We're not responsible for those platforms' availability, rate limits, or policy changes. Connecting your accounts grants Deputary the access scopes you approve at OAuth time.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deputary is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost sales, mis-quantified orders, missed reorder windows, or supplier disputes. Your sole remedy is to stop using the service.

7. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend access for accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk. On termination, your stored data may be retained for up to 90 days for backup purposes, then deleted.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
